Dear Algebra

I'm sorry I was mean to you

By Colleen WaltersPublished 2 months ago Updated 2 months ago 1 min read

My dearest algebra,

I apologize for saying all

those mean things about you

I'm not sure 4Y

I did that because I

got through you

X potentially better than

I thought I would

I'm really looking forward to using

4x + 7y-(5.17)^6 / 26^12 - 14z+ 3y

in the next birthday card that

I give to someone!

They'll be so surprised!

Ah yes, you used to be the

bane of my existence

but now I have a new favorite

torture instrument.

PowerPoint.

tiles piling up

like storytelling dominoes

each tile connected

to the next one in a string of words

like a literary

tapeworm

a parasitic parasite

sucking my joy dry

until my tile file

is a shriveled strip

of mind jerky

that not even my tears

of frustration can

reconstitute.
