Everyone sees you at night,
your soft sheen of radiance
bathing the world in silver,
making everything more beautiful,
softer, slower, and sweeter
beneath your gaze.
But I look for you in daylight,
love your eerie dawn glow,
especially when your circle is full,
swelling into the horizon
as you sink into other skies.
