Davits In the Wind

The davits on a ship

Davits In the Wind

The boats sway in the wind,

Time and again,

They are suspended from davits,

They are on both sides of the ship,

When you sail,

It is a nice trip,

The cargo will rise,

With a lift,

There's a lifeboat,

When things are not afloat,

They lower,

They raise,

Often with me giving a gaze,

The winds blow each and every day,

The boats and cargo sway,

The ship is docked,

The winds fierce,

The davits hold them,

The sails never pierce,

We look out to sea,

Breathing air,

So pure and free,

Next sail trip,

Take at most,

Think of these pair of posts.
