I live in your country and many beyond,

my color can change from silver to blonde.

I'm crafty and sharp with a face quite dashing,

but if you see me you'll only be laughing.

Wandering around I look for a home,

with plenty of chances to scurry and roam.

Living free as a bird on the wind,

I never lose hope, staying high chinned.

Time after time I leave and I learn,

especially whenever the weather does turn.

I'll find my place and when I do,

starting a family will come when it's due.

Never forgetting the times I have had,

now I can say I've never been more glad.
