Darkness Rise

Ode to an eclipse

Everyone gather around. Darkness is

Coming to town. When it does the sun

Lowers down by the pound. Illumination

Instantly disappears in a flash, but is it

Permanent? Who knows, but how long

Should it last? When it comes cover your

Eyes, or be blinded watching darkness rise.

What a great final line! Excellent acrostic!
