Darkness

The darkness is black it’s all around not even a drop, not even a sound

My upper lip quivering. I’m home alone and in the quietness I sit, I search for my phone

There’s no one responding there’s a disconnect, looking into the void I feel some regret

The pain is unbearable if only you knew, I hear my heart beating and it’s calling for you...

You’re chasing your dreams and I support your choice, engulfed by the darkness I’m losing my voice

Swallowed by fear in losing my light, I turn to my strength to reach out and fight

My light shines brighter when your around but right now it’s dim and low to the ground

If our love is strong and meant to be then we will fight this darkness and win victory!
