I want to sleep but the Sun is too bright

I want to kiss but you want to bite

I want the dark but you want the light

When you’re too far up you can’t come down

When the suns too bright you can only frown

Only in the shadow will you find your light

The stars only shine in the blackest night

Come with me let me hold your hand

I can take you to the promised land

Through the mountains and under the hills

Through the blood, the rape, the kill

A diamond can only form through pressure

When you’re stressed out in every single measure

Fly too high and your wings will burn

Allow the struggle and your heart will learn
