Dana's Little Book
Thanks to the Vocal Community
Dana wrote a little book,
And published it himself.
He filled it full of poems and stuff
From his dusty old shelf.
He published it on you-know-where,
To save himself some time.
And Dana learned some new cuss words
And some of them were “prime.”
But Dana's here to tell his friends
His little book is out
And thank you all for helping
Dana overcome self-doubt.

Seriously, this first book never would have been possible without the support and encouragement of the Vocal community, especially a group of loyal friends. A second book is “on the drawing board” and there are plans for others, too. After all these years, I'm finally taking a shot at this “author” thing. Thank you for letting this old dog play in your yard.
This first time has been a process. Fortunately, I've learned a lot, and I'm feeling a bit more confident about submitting the next one. So, without further ado, here's my shameless, blatantly touted link to my first poetry collection:

Congratulations! I know firsthand how frustrating self-publishing can be. Just understanding terms like page bleed and type wrap takes time and I'm still not sure I have it right. Good luck on future endeavors.
