Cuddles Await

A tender little tabby takes time out of his day,

To find some comfort from his ever so tall companion Jay.

Once Jay leaves he will make himself at home,

Awaiting the return of his friend from where he did roam.

Some days it is short and other days it is long,

But this little tabby has the patience to be strong.

He always knows that Jay will be back very soon,

For none can resist his fur which makes everyone swoon.

A click of the door brings the wait to a close,

And ever so quickly does our tabby go into his pose.

His belly all ready and fluffy to the max,

Jay soon sits down and gives his friend a much deserved cuddle tax.
