Crossing Points at Chance of Interim. Poem by KJLamon

Never to rush,

you are moving too slowly.

Deficient and too simple.

Strive to not be so.

Do not grieve, do not fret

and never exercise inquiry.

For only the exquisitely youthful can enjoy perception.

Detachment comes effortless,

steady enduring is arduous.

Culminating in stagnant living streams.

Once it has started,

there is no berth to catch.

You live with your reticent screams.

Misery drapes the soul with warm inattention.

With eyes unbarred,

you see through the breeding mephitis.

The anger, the hurt, It is plain.

But his eye to you seem,

like the softest of browns.

You decide to live on in the pain.

Piercing wails of solitude wrapped in beautiful ribbons.

One long occasion,

in repose and contemplative.

Separate behind built fortification,

empathy can not transcend,

nor inquiry attentions.

Quiet indifference to defining silence.

Although the sun sparkles through the casements,

the fervor is not accessible.

Stifled love does not flourish.
