A criminal, with a heart of stone,
A life of crime, that he had known.
Stealing and taking, what wasn't his right,
Living in shadows, away from the light.
But one day, his luck ran out,
Caught by the law, with no way to shout.
He faced the judge, and heard his fate,
Sentenced to prison, for his wrongs to await.
In the cell, he had time to reflect,
On his choices, and the pain he'd neglect.
He realized, the error of his ways,
And the hurt, that he caused in his days.
But he was determined, to make a change,
To live a life, with no more shame.
He worked hard, and learned a trade,
And with each passing day, his life was upgraded.
Now a model citizen, he walks with pride,
And the past, he leaves far behind.
A changed man, with a heart of gold,
Showing that redemption, can be bold.
