Close your eyes,
Try to sleep,
Beware the wolf,
Count your sheep
In the dark,
The dark dark deep,
Shadow monsters,
Lurk and creep
Follow the fox,
Secrets keep,
All alone,
Alone I weep
Litte red,
In the woods,
Carrying light,
Carrying goods
Not one monster,
Many more,
Oh my dear,
At least, there’s four
Like a raven,
Others words,
In a dream,
I have heard
Sold me out,
Dug my grave,
Danced around,
With lemonade
Through the portal,
The other side,
From myself,
I cannot hide
Nor can you,
Near can they
Scales of Justice
Time to pay
Just a dream,
All alone,
Ghosts and visions,
Empty throne
In the dark,
Dark dark deep,
All those secrets,
That I keep
Haunt my dreams,
Now haunt you too
All the words,
All the clues
Time to rest,
Time to sleep,
1, 2 ,3, 4
Counting sheep

Such vivid shadows melt into the whispers of night—your poem feels like stepping into a dreamscape where every sheep is a secret, every count a trembling heartbeat. Beautifully haunting.” 😴
Dark and right up my street!
