Conflicted Emotions

Fighting conflict between my heart and my head,

past few nights while laying in bed,

the person I knew was a lovely chappy,

made me smile and made me happy,

now inside for committing a crime,

getting help while serving the time,

now the conflict between my heart and my head,

something that really shouldn’t be said,

my head telling me too think of the critique,

for when you are out if we was to speak,

my heart truly knowing that you are a friend,

to ignore the negatives to the bitter end,

this the conflict between my heart and my head,

the past few nights while laying to bed!
