Take my hand my love,
let me pull you,
from the gloom of the room.
Outside the spring has come,
waiting just for you and me.
Together hand in hand,
we’ll wander,
down by the riverside.
There to greet the flowing river,
as seagulls flying overhead,
land on the waves –
to go bobbing along.
We can delight,
in the wildflowers,
starting to bloom,
along the banks
and in our delight –
we’ll go dancing in the spring breezes.

Take my hand,
as summer comes blowing in,
the skies are blue and clear again.
Let’s drift along country lanes,
into the shady land of forests,
where we walk along,
the path dappled by shadow and sunshine,
while the wind whistles,
through the tops of the pine trees.
We can sit side by side,
upon an old log,
listening to the sounds,
of the forest all around.
Hold hands and dream,
while forest streams gurgle
and somewhere beneath the mushroom caps –
forest fairies giggle.

Take my hand,
let me show you a summer night,
where night birds begin a symphony,
the moonbeams light the way,
while the wind blows night clouds by.
The night has magic,
just for you and me,
we can go slow dancing,
swaying in the night.
The scent of roses and jasmine,
upon the summer wind,
lost in a world of our own,
together swaying,
till the night fades away
and the morning sun rises in the sky.

Take my hand
and dance with me,
with a colorful carpet of leaves beneath our feet.
While the wind sends colorful leaves,
swirling and dancing with us.

Take my hand,
so we can keep warm,
beneath a gray sky
and watch as lacy snowflakes come falling down.
Looking behind we can see,
our footsteps left in the snow,
while the north wind merrily sends us on our way.
*
Take my hand,
through all the seasons that come and go,
so that I will always feel your warmth,
forever beside me,
no matter what the season,
no matter what the reason,
hand in hand we always will drift through life,
for love has brought us together
and love will always keep us close,
all you ever have to do,
as another season rolls by is to –
take my hand…
