Come Home

I Am The Temple To Which You Travel

I am the temple

To which you travel

The warm castle

Lit by candles

I open my windows wide

And the wind of you

Calls my wild

Our kingdoms unite

On the coldest night

Our home is born

In a state of mind

We eat, we bond

We dream, we sigh

Your fire doesn’t burn me

It brings me to life

We run upstairs

By the fullest moon

Dripping with light

We dance, we spoon

You nestle your nose

In the secrets of my skin

Hungry for red

You find my rose

And I resurrect

“Come home”, I whisper

You slide in, closer

Our minds walk out the door

You hold me as you roar

The legend that you are

Wraps me tight

In a torrent of stars

All wrongs are made right

We are safe from the wars

We never said yes to

Warm in the storms

That almost took you

You press your might

On the dark side

Of my palest places

You move your pride

Into my pink palace

Time and trouble stop

And every thrust is a step

For you to come home

In the mystery of my womb

Where the lies quiet

For all that is true

Love, nothing else

To alchemize the two

Free your seed and I will

Fill our home too.
