This is a sonnet about someone destroyed by cold.
The music I have chosen is Foreigner's "Cold as Ice" which has been used in the Netflix series Stranger Things.

The Freezing Fingers Stop Your Heart
They Touch Your Skin And Turn It Blue
Your Blood Burns Inside Killing You
The Cold Will Kill, Tear You Apart

How Can Cold Burn You Like Hell Fire?
Needles Of Burning Ice Shred You
The Blood Falls To The cold Stone Floor
In a Red Sheet of Solid Ice

There Is No Warmth, But Still, You Burn
Your Blood Vessels Will Crack And Churn
You Do Not Want To Die In Pain
The Cold Is Driving You Insane
