Christmas

Softly falls the snowflake, soft and white,
The purest blanket in a calm, still night.
Lights twinkle on the tree, standing tall,
A season of cheer, for one and all.

Rooms ring with laughter always bright,
The warmth of home on frosty nights.
With love wrapped for the day,
And joy in the hearts to share.

Singing of carols sweet refrain,
Of peace, joy, fills space again.
The world is hushed in gentle grace
When hope and love fill every space.

On Christmas Eve, wish takes flight,
A perfect peace and a dream of love's delight.
And this pure and true season brings about the light you and I can find.
