Christmas Love
I held your hand
by the fire’s glow,
the tree stood bright,
outside, the snow fell slow.
Your eyes caught mine,
in the hush of night,
ornaments trembling,
we shared a quiet light.
Laughter spilled softly,
through rooms warm and wide,
our hearts wrapped tightly,
where Christmas could hide.
The candle flickered,
its shadow danced free,
and love found a home,
just you and me.
We traced each ornament,
with fingers and sighs,
each memory lighting
our hearts like the skies.
Carols drifted slowly,
through the house and the cold,
we hummed every note,
like secrets retold.
Outside, snow whispered,
in silver and white,
inside, our love glowed,
through the quiet night.

Wish that was me 😁😁 I hate Christmas time, it is so full of bad memories and experiences for me.
