Season of the witch?

Cats have always loved me

Followed me

Shown up at my door

Of course I love them too

Halloween, before religion told me it was bad, was

Once my favorite holiday

The magic of being a character for a night

Brought me joy

The celebration of spooky stuff warmed my soul

Religion stole this from me

Until recently I began to study the stars

Realizing my fall birthday, and my Scorpio sign

Naturally drew me to Halloween

And cats

I wonder sometimes if they sense in me

An alignment with something supernatural

Maybe they sense this is my season of the witch
