This is great hahaha - The wind is a tricky thing.
The back story for this Haiku is amazing! Who knew kites were so dangerous! Loved your Haiku. Pity it ended your kite flying career though!
Hilariously cute poem…🤣 since it was surely more fright than actual pain involved. Kites are certainly unpredictable 🫣.
Oh my... this sounds like an HKB mishap so no judgement here!!
I feel bad for laughing but, haha!! Amazing work! A whole vivid visual sequence of events in just a few syllables!
Well-crafted L.C.! BRAVO!
Can't believe how you write an entire story with just seventeen syllables! Fascinating!
Been there, done that. Very nice.
Such a fun haiku, LC! Well done.
Haha! That kid probably developed a lifelong (and not altogether irrational) fear of being hit by a kite! This was brill!
Moving words
Oh no! Great Sky-ku!
Hahaha. Oops, sorry. Forgot I wasn't supposed to laugh. 🤭
Aww, that's sad! 😞 But I have to say, this haiku is beautifully written!
Oh no! Great Sky-ku!
I've taken out a picnic.
Aw, I hate when that happens! I've crashed a few and lost a few.
Where did you fly the kite at? I usually fly kites with my daughter when she was little at an open space park early fall or late spring
