Running Away to The Circus

By NitsuaPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

wait…

We were supposed to

be better…

I’m not him

The guy that broke your heart

I am…

Kinder,

I am…

Sweeter

I am…

Here.

Waiting for you,

By the Ferris wheel,

When you remember.

We ran away…

From the stigma,

And the stereotypes,

And yeah…

We had no place to go.

And yeah…

We had no food to eat.

And yeah…

The pure instability,

Drove us crazy.

But it was just me and you

Against the world.

You left me…

So now it’s just me.

And no…

I didn’t mean it when I put my hands on you.

And no…

I’m not perfect.

And no…

I’m still not like all the others.

But you wouldn’t let me think,

You were screaming,

And I was on edge.

I’ll never do it again.

I got a job.

And a hotel room.

The rent is paid up until the end of week.

If you find this.

I’m sorry.

It’ll never happen again.
