This week we went to camp for a few days to spend time with my brother and a few of his family. His wife and daughter came with him from Texas. They were coming up to see both his family and hers. His wife's family were having a family reunion.

My brother from Texas.

We had a dinner and breakfast together a couple of mornings. We spent hours over the meals catching up, laughing and reminiscing. We spent time at our campsite and at the beach.

On Monday there was no people at the beach, except for one woman on a floaty and a woman with her three small children. We thought it may be busy because of the coming holiday but it was so peaceful and quiet. A great day, enjoyed by all. Including the biting flies and mosquitoes.

That night it rained and we loved hearing the rain on the camper top. Then the next morning...

The morning after a rain

mosquitoes can be a drain.

We saw a couple of crane.

My daughter and grands will be here later.

~

It was time to go to the water

and take a dip,

but first a sip

of water, and breakfast.

~

The lake is beautiful

nice clear water lake full

of fish and other harmless water critters

little to no litterers.

~

So much beauty in one place

and so much space

to roam and sightsee

electric bikes may be just right you see

easier on my knee.

~

Maybe next time.

All this fresh air reminded me of bedtime.

The grands arrived and wanted to swim

The water was cold, I would rather go to the gym

~

We had fun by the water,

with my niece and daughter

2 grands and a great nephew

the kids all swam for a few

hours and we went back to camp

where we needed a lamp.
