In this age of instant gratification and absolute busyness, we need peace and unity more than ever. When voices keep ringing in our heads, that can be difficult to come by.
A little self-focus, positivity, and self-care are not instant solutions, but certainly help. So is a little persistence. Do enjoy this little Haikuplet.
White dove scales the sky
Howling wind blowing white wings
Eye on olive branch
White dove touches clouds
Soft feathers bring it to still trees
Perches on still branch

Seconds ago, the sullen sun set on the two of us… my exuberant furry companion and me. A fresh breeze embraces us, delivering welcome relief from the day’s oppressive heat. His typical stumbling and staggering along — apace with a sloth — has turned into trip-trapping, high-stepping, almost skipping along.
