Buyer’s Remorse

The people

By Gregory AndersonPublished 9 months ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read

Anxious and unsure

Because you don’t know what lies in store

Searching for purpose,place or position

Creates life stress for neural cognition

The appearance of things is like a dream

Until you find out that things are not what they seem

The language of the world is harsh when you listen to the discourse

So many are suffering buyers remorse

Witnessing a cosmic collision so many with no direction

All the lies cascade till the truth starts to fade

So many sit on the sideline as society starts to unwind

Some are indignant some are enraged some seek to turn the page

Some will not listen and simply drift of course

They too are suffering buyers remorse

So much has come before us that’s carelessly undone

So many who have been beaten and broken under the harsh sun

There are tales and stories of how our humanity was saved

Secrets and unspoken truths that were taken to the grave

We seek enlightenment and still truth dispensed by force

Leaves many with that sense of buyers remorse
