Open my eyes,

For I cannot see,

Change the heart of me,

What was stone indeed,

Loneliness the curse of man,

What divine but an open hand?

Every day full of grays,

Lies that bind my mind,

Have the courage to break,

The walls of selfish fay,

For with mighty hands,

The gentle touch of love commands,

Leave not my friends in shadows,

Introspection’s only lie,

But let my love show forth,

In each home the candle bright,

For I am man and if the earth,

But what calls the soul,

But the divine?

Friendship
