A charred molehill of garbage that even a vulture wouldn’t eat.
Can’t you see the irony, vultures?
Tell us your lies. Make your assurances. Promise us the finest buffet.
I know it is just a distraction, a ruse intent on brainwashing the masses.
Oh, I see right through you. I’ve tasted your buffet and I know it’s
Nothing but burnt toast and bitter coffee for all.

Seconds ago, the sullen sun set on the two of us… my exuberant furry companion and me. A fresh breeze embraces us, delivering welcome relief from the day’s oppressive heat.
