A broken heart.
A broken trust.
A broken promise made.
A broken lock,
without a key,
a damaging mistake.
A new heartbreak,
an old heartache,
with no way to escape.
No good reason, rhyme or why
just time to say goodbye.
Last words, last rites,
no chance to change,
last tears for you to cry.
Never spoken, broken again
no time again to try.
The medaling hands,
the cold hands of time.
Caught in a rhythmic spell
A broken clock, expressionless
with so much time to tell
Seconds, minutes, hours
A single moment passed.
When careless hands -recklessly,
destroy the looking glass.
Seamlessly, without success
repairing years of disrepair.
Two broken people find
beauty in the broken
A mosaic brokenness
