My heart once shattered,
Like glass upon the ground,
The pain was so intense,
I thought I'd never be found.
But time heals all wounds,
They say, and it's true,
For slowly but surely,
My heart began to mend anew.
I learned to love myself,
To pick up the pieces,
And to trust again,
Even though it was a tease.
And then one day, I met someone,
Who showed me what love could be,
Who accepted me for who I am,
And set my spirit free.
We fell in love deeply,
And built a life together,
A love that's stronger than ever,
Despite the heartache, I've weathered.
So if you're feeling broken,
Know that love is still out there,
Just give yourself time to heal,
And your heart will be repaired.
For love is a powerful force,
That can conquer all,
And even though it may hurt sometimes,
It's worth the risk to stand tall.
