Broken Hopes
Rebuilding with heart and unity after the quake

The earth beneath our feet doth quake,
A violent tremor we cannot fake,
Our world, our home, is torn apart,
By Mother Nature's fearsome heart.
Amidst the chaos, we seeketh light,
For hope to cling to in the night,
But all we find is fear and pain,
And tears that fall like pouring rain.
The memories of our past do fade,
As everything we knew is razed,
Our hearts are heavy, our souls bereft,
As we face the aftermath, we're left.
But in the rubble, there's still a flame,
A flicker of hope that's not yet tamed,
For in the darkness, we find our might,
Our strength to rise and take flight.
We'll rebuild, we'll stand once more,
And heal the wounds that we deplore,
For though the quake hath shattered us,
Our love for Earth still rages fierce.
We'll plant new seeds upon the land,
And hold our future in our hands,
For in the aftermath, we see,
The beauty of our unity.
We'll stand together, hand in hand,
To rebuild our homes, our sacred land,
And though the scars may never fade,
Our love for Earth will never abate.
Let us learn from this tragedy,
And take responsibility,
To care for Earth, with all our might,
And keep it safe, both day and night.
For though the earthquake may have passed,
Our love for Earth will forever last,
And through the pain and tears we shed,
We'll rise and rebuild, stronger instead.
Our Earth is strong, our spirits bright,
We'll face each challenge with all our might,
And in the face of trembling ground,
We'll rise above, and we'll be found.
For though the quake may shake our souls,
Our love for Earth will make us whole,
And in the end, we'll stand once more,
Together, strong, forevermore.
