I wrote this years ago for you. Funny how it's just as truthful today as it was back then.
All it took was one look
and I was hooked
Never to be the same again
One word from you,
eyes sparkling so blue
how was I to know how it would end?
I never had a choice
Love had stolen my voice
What would I have cried if I could?
Help me, please me
Love me, release me
Only you could break me for good
Now I lay here battered
my heart cold and shattered
Unable to trust anyone
Only you had the power,
alone here, I cower
When you broke me, I came undone
