Sorry
Yeah?
I’m sorry.
broke-N record
repetitive
A Ferris wheel of words
circling around
up and up to heights,
then roaring to earth - rudely.
The Ferris wheel spins as
she walks away,
the wheel calling her.
The calls fade
please, I’m sorry
fading
Her lungs fill with fresh air.

Deep symbolism here! Great job 👏
One can only ride the "I'm sorry" wheel for so long before they throw up. Good for her for getting off.
This was very relatable with all the repetition of “sorry” …very well penned, Andrea!
This was powerful and poignant! There is something so universal and beautiful about this piece, Andrea! Love it 💌
You always give readers a visual picture and something to learn if needed.
I am on the ferris wheel and trying to get off. Excellent metaphorical choice.
Keep up the excellent work
This was so poignant yet so beautiful. Loved it!
Thanks Michelle!!
This feels like a Ferris wheel of "sorry"—round and round, up and down, until she steps off, leaving it spinning. Fresh air, freedom, and finally, moving on. Short, sweet, and oh-so-relatable!😊✨
Those who give false promises don't do us any good, indeed. Walk away from them. Deep and beautiful, Andrea.
Love it! ⚡❤️⚡
