Nice
Very cleverly written… an unexpectedly sad end🥹.
A beautiful exploration of love and distance.
Oh, this was beautifully layered. What started as an experience through the pages of literature, ends up becoming a confession of how love is not like a fairytale, sometimes it’s two people becoming bookends, who can’t seem to meet in the middle. Clever and absolutely, lovely to read. I especially liked how you linked the not so good symptoms of reading to the person in question, the eyestrain, the weakened plot twist — he, whoever, chooses not to or cannot live up to the stories between the pages, deep. 👏🏽👌🏽♥️
Oh wow, the ending was sad but as I read it, you articulated it so beautifully~ Thanks for sharing, Marilyn~
Oh my, that ending hit me so hard. Made me remember how parallel lines can never meet. Loved your poem so much!
Really beautiful Marilyn, but also quite sad - the fact they never meet in the middle. Well done.
Oh, wow! Love what you did with the imagery of the bookends! Very clever and beautifully written poem, Marilyn!
What a creative poem you have here. It seems to be all about living a book life with someone special but two can't seem to meet. Good job.
Gosh, this was gorgeously written. I love the way it ends, tying the title into your work so effectively.
Very good work 👏🙏
Interesting comparison of life, love and relationships. Well said
