  • It's so hard to capture the essence of a feeling in a short number of words, but you sure nailed it! I remember my first couple of Open Mics. Man! The place was so noisy I was going to clear my throat to get attention and the microphone sent out a shot of reverb that would curl your hair! LOL! It came out okay, but I had the worse case of dry mouth in my life! LOVED this poem! What a great piece! ๐Ÿคฉ
