Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary

raining down from blood Redd skies

Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary

the sky glowed an angry red

it glowered and growled

red rain begun to fall

at first it dripped slowly from the sky

like liquid red drizzled chocolaty syrup

or maybe tomato juice?

hands reached out to test its authenticity

it flowed thicker and thicker

faster and faster

gaining nauseating momentum

blood flowed and flowed, heavier....Redd

it covered everything

i can't breathe

my inner voice said; run........run fast and far

seek shelter while you can

i tried, but; i could not move

frozen in time, i felt myself consumed

by this overpowering tormenting red goo

down they came

black vodka, tomato juice, pickle juice

lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and Tobasco

drops of food coloring, horseradish too, and ice

celery interspeared herself in for a well balanced treat

i screamed. at least i tried

no sound emanated from my throat

I kicked and clawed, i must get free

i am dreaming, dreaming, drowning

wake up, wake up, wake up!

oh, bloody hell

my head is pounding

i need to puke

no more Bloody Marys for me.

at least not today!
