And the cursor’s blinking grows more and more impatient with each second.

Now, imagine this –
you have a list of things to do, deadlines to meet. You shimmy your butt into the familiar dent in your favourite corner of the sofa, open your laptop, take a sip of your coffee and swallow it with a quiet 'ah'.
You’re ready to get writing!
Aaand....blank.

Vocalcords dry and my tongue is in a knot
On the day I had hoped to get done quite a lot.
Come on! Why now? Why me? Why today?
All of the questions unanswered will stay.
Leave me alone! Get out of my way! Silence. No answer. Still nothing to say.

Happens to me very often!
This was such an excellent piece on writer’s block. Love the irony aspect as well of writing about not being able to write
Oof! Been there! Great acrostic, Cristal! So glad you joined in the fun!
Oh, it is so damn annoying when you have the perfect time to write and then the head empties. 😒 It happens way too often. Well-written - and annoyingly relateable - acrostic, lol. Best of luck in D.K.'s challenge for both your entries!
Captivating!!!
Live well today and tomorrow and let them remain unknown
