I want to be the poetess

That leaves marks

On your black silk heart

And velvet words

Tattooed on your mind

But you keep

Your frontal lobe shut.

Perhaps you’re not ready

To let art

Invade your DNA

I understand;

But please let me

Stay true to my archetype.

Here to pen, polish and provoke thoughts.
