Everything starts off black and white in life. How you choose to look at it is when you start to witness the color unfold before your eyes but let’s not underestimate the beauty that black and white is.
When you look at this flower what do you see? Do you see a flower that almost looks dead and boring, lifeless almost. Or do you allow yourself to look past the basic judgment that your eyes first see?
I see a flower with a stem with strength holding itself high towards the sky allowing the sun to feed it, so he can grow and reach his full potential of beauty.
Do you see the plain petals drooping like they are about to give up and fall one by one down to the ground.?
I see petals that are gorgeous and unrecognizable to Mother Nature as they have grown with the nurture that was earth and life around it. The baby petals he once had so close to the ground have grown into an adult pair showing his scars but yet able to keep the humility of his past for knowledge and wisdom for his future color.
Looking at this flower you might see nothing special but a plain Jane, piece of earth you would probably step on walking through the woods.
I can see the color this flower has grown to shine. I can see the depth of his nature and without there being any recognizable color on the surface it hasn’t stopped showering you through your screen teaching you a very simple life lesson.
Life isn’t just black and white. At times the pain and heartache may make you believe so, at times you may have questioned your worth and dimmed your colors to nothing but in the process you never lost your color, It’s been there, inside you waiting for you to grow. Waiting for you to change your own nature that surrounds you so you can stand tall from the depths of the beneath and continuously look up to the light that is guiding you to a divine you, a beautiful you, power and colorful you that brings life to others in a black and white world. Your scars are there, but they do not define you, They are a part of you but they are not all you are. Allow yourself the knowledge you gained and move on to a beautiful you. This black and white world is waiting for your color.
