Beyond the Veil
Heartbreaking she cries for her dead husband

Beyond the Veil
A wife sits on the darkened hill,
The world below so vast, so still.
Her hands are clasped, her head bowed low,
Grief-struck beneath the moon’s soft glow.
She faces life, lost and alone from today,
Yet he is still with her—he has not gone away.
His ghostly hand extends in vain,
A touch that cannot cross the pain.
He silently hugs her as she cries,
If only she knew, through all her life,
He will remain, unseen but near,
A love unchanged, year after year.
Yet love endures beyond the night,
Beyond the reach of mortal sight.
And though she feels the night grow deep,
He stands beside her while she weeps.
