Beneath Bruises

When the body is broken, new cells will grow. Ones you never touched.

Beneath bruises,

Bones become broken,

Body begs, "Be better."

But better bodies become brand-new.

Bones become

Braced.

Blood becomes

Boiled.

Bruises become

Bronze.

Bodies become better,

By becoming brand-new.
