a poem

As fog dissipates, she lies in the field inhaling scented flowers,
watching a formation of Geese above the trees and
wondering if spirits, too, trill about in echelons.
She gently squeezes the satin base of golden honeysuckle and
lightly touches a bead of sweet nectar to her tongue.

Lovely
awesome
What a poetically vivid poem! The imagery of nature, combined with the feeling of amazement, does justice to the moment's magic by inviting the readers to savor the sweetness of life.
This could easily be a winner!
Such a satisfying sensory song and a delight to read. Congratulations on the TS and hope to see a challenge win too

What a moment to capture into a poem. Very aware of the world around us, this brought the poem alive, keeping it glued to our minds.
Wow this was so good
I like how much this feels like paradise- golden, nectar, spirits, fog dissipating. This has all the senses threaded through, but without being too heavy-handed. Nicely done Pamela:)
This is visceral and palpable, a stunning picture taken here!
I love this, thanks for sharing ❤️😘
Lovely 🌹
This is a sensory feast, Pamela. I agree with Kendall about the pre-Raphaelite overtones. It is just, as they say in Wales, lush.
Lovely response to the given prompt.
Very Pre-Raphelite!
Congrats on the TS.
