Behind her smile

Many scars hide

Behind her smile

Her joy has died

Behind her smile

Lie lots of tears

Behind her smile

She hides heartache and fears

Behind her smile

Lives torment and pain

Behind her smile

She feels she might go insane

Behind her smile

Once was a happy soul

Behind her smile

Now exhaustion unfolds

Behind her smile

Her life is shattered apart

Behind her smile

She feels anguish in her heart

Behind her smile

She is a tangled mess

Behind her smile

She her soul is stressed

Behind her smile

Lies wasted years

Behind her smile

She tries to hide the tears

Scars haunt her, she cant see her dreams

Behind her smile

Her spirit screams

Tears flow into her pillow her heart breaks

She feels the cut of the razor sharp blades

Cutting her soul into a million pieces

And on her face you see the creases

That time has left its mark of age

She needs to be free from this cage

Behind her smile

These chains they bind

Behind her smile

She’s bound in shackles and ropes entwine

Even with darkness haunting her all the while

She will still greet you with a smile
