This is for Poppy’s sugar prompt! Do join in the fun here!

Sugar. We have a love-hate relationship with this condiment.

Whether we love it or hate it, there is one thing that’s for certain; all of us want to maintain sweetness in our lives.

And the recipe for that is gratitude, mixed in with supportive relationships, a desire for positivity, and good, old-fashioned flexibility.

The bee is the quintessential symbol of sweetness. It has the support of other bees as it hovers over honeycombs with them.

Busy bees buzzing

Surrounding sweet honeycomb

Churning smooth honey

Bees always buzzing

Moving through the comb’s small holes

Shape dusty pollen.

Sweet (pun intended) poem. Bees are so important to the scheme and balance of nature.

Lovely, bees are a necessity. I love your comments before your poems. As I read this, a bird hit my window, despite my reflective decals (probably a Pine Siskin, there's no helping them). Nice work!!
