Becoming the Sky

No longer earthbound, no longer fixed— I dissolve into air, into light

I unfasten the weight of my name,

let it slip like a cloud unraveling in the wind.

No longer earthbound, no longer fixed—

I dissolve into air, into light,

into the vast hush where blue never ends.

I stretch where the sunrise spills gold

and fold where the evening leans into violet.

I am storm and stillness,

thunder and hush,

the shifting breath of seasons unchained.

No walls, no roads, no single shape to hold me—

I am the whisper between the stars,

the boundless hush before the dawn.

Becoming, always becoming,

as the sky does,

forever free.
