i wish i could love you like i'm supposed to.

soft, slow, painful

quick, passionate, warm

o i long to be in your arms,

and i was. i am.

cold, even still.

for this to be real-

for you to be mine. truly.

the headrush when you hold me close

your breath in my mouth

my breath.

if you talk i will listen forever

give me nothing and i will turn it to gold

for the beauty laid out before me

is not given to me.

breath in my ear

so that i may hear your thoughts.

read aloud, touch my thighs, hold my pencil,

my hands above my head, come to me,

become me.

us.

thats what we are. us.

i wish we were more.

me.

if we were one

i would never hurt myself again.

a temple, my shrine,

perfect in essence.

become me,

my precious false idol.

us.
