BEARS

A short story for a toddler’s bedtime

Author: Jane Hansen, Plano, Texas 3/6/2021

Some bears are black.

Some bears are brown.

Some bears are white as a big fluffy cloud!

**********************************************************************

Bears don’t like cities.

Cars are a fuss.

Big buildings and houses,

It’s all just too much!

**********************************************************************

Bears live in forests.

They like lots of space.

Bears eat insects, fish, berries, and sage.

**********************************************************************

Bears sleep all winter!

They stay in their caves.

They like that it’s quiet,

A warm place to stay.

**********************************************************************

Now it’s your bed time,

You’re tucked in so snug.

The best bear of all is a big bear hug! ♥
