Battle of Love

Poem

By Jaymee LeavittPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

Here I stand

With my sword In my hand on this battlefield looking at you.

My chest hurts for you

Just with the slight sight of you

We are full of these feelings

Feelings we call our Forbidden love.

I know I shouldn’t have these feelings, but I can’t stand it anymore.

Those demon gold eyes...

That wicked smirk...

That hunger that glows in those gold orbs...

It’s intoxicating.

I can’t fight it much longer

The longing for is to fight

Giving all I have on this battlefield.

There no other way to see you

To show you just how much I need you

The need to fight to keep you.

Your arms...

Yoir long legs...

Your chest...

The closeness...

That wicked smirk...

Those demon eyes...

I can’t breath.

How I feel your soft breath, smell your blood on the ground as you raise your Sword.

Our blades clash

Starting a never ending Rhythm of our dance of death.

It’s the only way for us to be one

The only way to be near you.

The blood flowing to the ground...

Even if it costs me my life,

I know it worth it

I will for all my life — love you.
