Take me to the field, the stadium, the dome

whichever as long as I'm not home

the spring time air

I don't have a care

the pitcher's long gazing stare

to the catcher while the batter is unaware

the pitch crosses the plate

the batter swings to late

strike three you're out

the visiting team pouts

bottom of the inning we are at bat

home run home about that

it's going to be a good day

I wouldn't have it any other way

seventh inning stretch

watching the players play catch

one last beer

before we are out of here

baseball season is back

bring on a full year of panic attacks

performance poetry
