Barbi Dolls Heart Is Shattered
A new AMERICAN dream doll steals Kens heart away

Barbi Dolls Heart Is Shattered
Barbi’s smile stiffens,
vinyl lips stretched too thin,
molded perfection cracking at the seams.
she’s seen this before,
that new doll fresh from AMERICA,
lashes long enough to catch Ken’s plastic gaze,
hips molded with a little more curve,
smirk sharper than factory lines.
Lindsey so beautifu,
new kid in town,
flash of bleach blonde hair
glitter dipped and set for a win.
She winks and Ken’s head is turned,
those painted-on blue eyes
locked in a manufactured stare,
arms frozen, muscles flexed,
he never stood a chance.
Barbi’s dream house gone,
convertible gathering dust,
and history rewrites itself,
in neon pink ink, and gold
Lindsey leading the changes,
Barbi’s glossy reign splintered, gone.
A new plastic queen now,
In toy shops
Barbi is out grown.
Ken and Lindsey married,
history’s in the toy shops,
where new love grows and glows.
Ken and Lindsey now together,
Barbi gone,
snd kids are never bored.
