Drizzle, sprinkle, mizzle;
cheesecake, apple pie, and a whistle.
White tea in the orange tea cup,
a daffodil, a daisy, and a dream.
One is not enough if not a baffling beauty
but an illusion dying in the sea of green.

I wrote this little poem in 2011, 13 years ago. I have written very little poetry in my life. I have kept most of it private. This one, was my first attempt. Now, for no apparent reason, I have decided to share it with you all. It simply kept on coming onto my mind. The little poem has pushed so hard that I have finally listened. There is a time for everything, and perhaps this is the right time to make this public.

Dear Susan, I'm responding here about your comment left on my A+A-Ai to try to keep it more private. I'm not a writer or Journalist as you are - you are just marvelous. I'm a retired legal professional morphed into a silly storyteller along with my goofy sketches that lead into them; nothing more. I want to thank you and your VSS Group. They have just been so supportive of me and one another, please thank them for me as I'm not a member. - My Respect - Jay Kantor, Chatsworth, California 'Senior' Vocal Author - Vocal Village Community -
