I had a wonderful time with my Muse today and she suggested two poems to create. The first was about seasonal change and how Autumn / Fall is a transition from Summer to Winter and preparation for the rebirth that occurs in Spring. The seasons are one example of the Circle of Life.

Green To Brown To Gold On The Forest Floor
Preparing For Winter, Green Trees Now Bare
A Wash Of Colour To Prepare For Snow

To Welcome The Bright Sun Of Summertime
Together These Treasures Dispel All Gloom
Autumnal Colours Will Come Once Again

Let Us Watch The Golden Leaves Fall And Spin
We'll See The Beauty Of Autumn And Fall
Walking Forest Paths In The Sun And Rain
Still Filled With Birdsong, Our Feathered Friends Call

And Be Part Of Nature Now Autumn's Here

Making me long for autumn and we've not yet arrived at summer's door
